This badge is authorized by Chief Robert McCullough as an official badge of the Baltimore County Police Department from January 1, 2024 through April 11, 2025. As such, ONLY CURRENT AND RETIRED SWORN MEMBERS IN GOOD STANDING ARE AUTHORIZED TO PLACE AN ORDER. They are not allowed to be resold until after the official badge designation expires on April 12, 2025.
This badge must be ordered with the purchasing officer’s ID number. This number will be engraved on the back of the badge and will be considered its serial number.
Retired officers, Auxiliary officers and Chaplain are eligible for ordering and must include their ID number. These will have the ID number engraved on the back of the badge with an “R”, “A” or “C” preceding the number.
This number will be considered its serial number.
Plaque badges will not have the ID number engraved on back due to the location of the fastener.
