Designing a Custom Badge
We make designing your custom badge simple and easy. Choose from a fully custom badge or a personalized badge.
Full custom badges allow you to design and choose the badge shape, badge material, lettering placement, font, colors, and more.
A personalized badge allows select customization options on a preset design. This gives you a faster turnaround time without sacrificing the design elements you want.
What is a Personalized Custom Badge
A personalized custom badge allows you to choose your badge style, material, color section, text, and seals. You get design flexibility based on an existing template for faster turnaround and delivery. Recommended for small orders or fast arrival.
Custom Center Seal
At Irvin H. Hahn, we provide custom center seals for your badges so they are always unique to your department and organization. Talk to us about incorporating featured local landmarks, mottos, colors, and dates.
Fully Custom Badge
If you’re looking for a complete custom order, we offer that. You choose the badge shape, material, colors, font placement, seal placement, sizes, fasteners, and more. We offer standard shipping and turnaround or rush orders if available. Minimum order quantity required.

Our in-house designers will develop a custom badge design based on your input. We’ll provide a detailed digital mock-up for your review. Once approved, we’ll prepare your badge for production.

Production
Your badges will be handcrafted using premium materials and processes to ensure lasting quality. Once complete, they will be carefully packaged and shipped directly to your department.
WARRANTY INFORMATION
All of our products are made with the highest quality materials in the industry. We back all of our fasteners and applied panels with a Lifetime Warranty against manufacturing defects under NORMAL wear and tear. Repair orders are subject to pre-work inspection, and prevailing shipping and handling charges.
CARING FOR YOUR BADGE
The beauty and shine of your badge can be easily maintained by occasionally cleaning with mild soap and warm water. Next, dry your badge with a soft, clean cloth. Never scrub with a brush or use an abrasive polish or cleaner that will remove layers of plating or any protective coatings that may be applied to certain finishes.
HARD-FIRED CLOISONNE ENAMEL
The cloisonne enameling process uses colored glass that is fired at 1500 degrees and offers a finished product that, under normal wear and tear, will last for many years. All of our seals, centers, lapel pins, commendation awards, and many other components utilize this high quality enamel. Some badge manufacturers may use either plastic or soft enamel when refering to “enamel” which is substantially softer and does not have the same qualities as our hard fired enamel.
